Job Summary
Responsible to ensure the compliant and efficient performance of all Import
- Export operations for all Hugelent Technologies transactions as well as work with the Supply Chain and Operations team to ensure that trade compliance processes and practices align with import/export laws and regulations.
Import and Export duties and responsabilities:
Process shipping documents and Import / Export documentation and ensure shipping compliance with state, federal, and international regulations.
Follow up material in transit.
Close collaboration with SCM departments (Purchasing, Warehouse, Operations).
Follow up and compliance with Mexican Official Standards (NOM's) related to foreign trade and consequent processes.
Review import shipment documentation from customer's suppliers to identify and resolve errors and compliance issues prior to Customs entry.
Process documents through the established system, obtaining release and other governmental agency releases as appropriate.
Perform logistic data analysis, identify errors and inefficiencies, and improve processes and performance.
Develop positive relationships with freight and external logistics companies.
Job Requirements and experience:
Bachelor's degree required in International Business, Foreign Trade, Commerce, Law or Administration
Advanced English
Previous experience in a similar position/industry (at least 3 years of experience)
Proven expertise over general rules associated with foreign trade (Annex 22 and Annex 24)
Technical knwoledge for import and export activities
Experience in metalworking/automotive industry (desired)
ASTM/IATF/ISO900 Standars
Management skills, negotiation, leadership, planning, team management multidisciplinary, problem solving and data analysis, skills for the decision making.
