Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams that build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking to add an Import/Export Manager located in Juarez South.
Reporting to the Import/Export Manager, the Import/Export Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with each of the plant's projects and liaising with the different areas, as well as aligning with regional business processes.
What a typical day looks like:
- Responsible for the daily activity of the personnel assigned to Import/Export activities.
- Advise the company on customs requirements and inform other departments of any issues that may affect their operations.
- Interact with internal and external customers, foreign order management, freight forwarders, customs officials, and other functional areas to ensure coordination and shipping logistics.
- Conduct periodic audits with various departments to identify, disclose and work to resolve any potential Import Compliance issues.
- Interact with Corporate Compliance to ensure Import/Export Compliance processes are updated to comply with U.S. Customs rules and regulations.
- Notify site Compliance team members if a discrepancy is noted in the audit and conduct escalation as appropriate to resolve the issue.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Engineering or bachelor's degree.
- Trade Compliance Manager experience or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of IMMEX and PROSEC programs.
- Knowledge in FTS Items regulations system.
- Expertise in VAT and IEPS Certification.
- Knowledge in OEA certification.
- General knowledge of foreign trade regulations.
- BAAN knowledge would be a plus.
- Advanced English.
