Transmit on a monthly basis the I-Xport inventory backflush report to SAT.
Such report needs to be cross-referenced and analyzed using the DataStage report and compared against the SAP Inventory results at month-end 2.
Maintain and renew the Value Added Tax certification (CIVA) 3.Maintain and renew the Inspection at Origin (RO) certification, monitoring all supplier discrepancies and amending import pedimento data 4.Maintain and renew the OEA certification, keeping all procedures up to date will all related company departments critical for this certification.
5.Update all USMCA certificates for raw materials and finished goods on a yearly basis, or as new products become available.
Working in conjunction with the corporate Customs Compliance team 6.Maintain the I-Xport database up to date with all new MX/US customs regulations, SAP material master data, finished product labors updates, HTS codes, component unit costs, etc 7.
Process all duty waiver permits (PROSEC and Regla 8va R8) via VUCEM for dutiable components 8.Review and approve all weekly/monthly pedimentos as well as CBP entries (7501) to verify that commercial values, permits and duty waiver programs were applied correctly 9.
Main contact with all MX/US Customs brokers, including the bonded operation at the U.S. warehouse 10.Process the yearly Cost Reconciliation Report with CBP, working in conjunction with the finance department and the corporate customs team 11.
Maintain all recordkeeping for US and MX operations 12.Work with the New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to keep track of new components and products, so these are properly classified and loaded to I-Xport in accordance to internal rules and procedures 13.Maintain all fixed assets located at the facility, correctly tagged and tied to import pedimentos.
Working along with the maintenance and finance departments to align the process on new/used assets 14.Effectively supervise the import-export team.
