**Job Title**: Imports Production Coordinator
Our Import Production Coordinator must thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. This individual needs to have good people and leadership skills. S/he will need to work well independently as well as a team environment—following and delegating directions, communicating, and troubleshooting obstacles to effectively meet goals and objectives. Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to develop relationships across departments, at all levels. Must have ability to read and interpret documents including process, procedure, and vendor manuals.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Review costing files and construction details as communicated in tech pack files, art files, fabric quality, trims, and labels.
- Directly communication with factories and internal team on costing requests. Address any ambiguity on the costing requests prior to sending.
- Organize and prioritize cost summaries for evaluation by Director.
- Review and manage Time & Action Calendar for submits regular to ensure approval deadlines are met.
- Maintain daily communication with Director to find best solutions and costing strategies.
- Develop good knowledge of major retailer requirements—i.e., deliveries cadence, ticketing, hanger requirements, sizing, etc.
- Other duties to be assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
**Qualifications/Requirements**
- College Degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in production coordination or product design management requirements and negotiating cost with overseas factories highly desired.
- Strong working analysis experience in Excel.
- General knowledge of apparel/accessories construction, design, embellishment techniques, garment trims, fabrication and can provide solution-based remedies when faced with stringent deadlines and unforeseeable obstacles that may hinder production.
**Salary**: $14,940.34 - $20,000.00 per month
