The role is directly responsible of the procurement of packaging materials for the SCA plant, specifically the categories of rigid plastics and corrugate cases.
Packaging inventories should be linked with a DOS strategy that ensures cash and space plan budgets are in place and well executed.
**What are we looking for?
**:
- Experience working within the Supply Chain that proves general understanding of material logistics and their flow through the plants.
- Advanced English (Spoken and Written)
- High Excel skills (Dynamic tables, data bases, etc.)
- General knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP
**What will be your key responsibilities?
**:
- Plan packaging materials based on the most updated production plan using MRP tools and procedures.
- Risk escalation with short, mid and long-term supply gaps and constraints to work alongside the Commercial team to solve it or make sure the impact is minimized towards causing minimum disruption at the plant and in service.
- Assure correct inventory management and material availability to guarantee the correct flow towards the plant and with suppliers.
- Generate space plan projections to require the correct and most efficient pallet positions plan to keep inventory according to target DOS.
- Communicate refusals and quality issues with materials and or deliveries to SQA and Commercial Operations teams to work along with supplier to correct situations and mitigate risks.
- Timely create purchasing orders with correct prices and send them to suppliers according to the replenishment strategy.
- Work with the Commercial team to implement Value Leadership Projects through sourcing strategies.
- Make accurate material requirement projections based on every period's 18P production plan in order to share forecasts to suppliers.
- Be active participants in innovation projects that require new materials in order to deliver them on time for production plans.
