The world's brightest technology minds come to Amazon.Com to research and develop technology that improves the lives of shoppers and sellers around the world.The Inbound Transportation Analyst supports the carrier management team in the daily operations by creating and collecting valuable data that contributes to the decision-making process to strive for lean operations for imports and inbound pay programs.This is a temporary six-month role.Key Job Responsibilities:Support the ground transportation operation from the 1st mile (Inbound and Imports).Align on a weekly basis the metrics with the different carriers.Follow up with the carriers to collect guides and solve daily problems.Follow up on incidents with the different carriers.Search for information and follow up on guides related to delivery topics.Support the Carrier during the units positioning.Track units until reaching FC for their download and inbound process.Review loads to avoid delays in the departure of inbound services.Support billing issues, attend meetings, and review any pending issues with brokers.Follow up on carrier performance and commitments from meetings.A Day in the Life:The terrific communication and approach with the carriers are the main goals for the Inbound Transportation Analyst for a success story inside Amazon.
