Industrial Designer - Cad Engineer

This position is responsible for the design and development of all custom products including window displays and in-store fixtures.
This position will produce designs to be manufactured domestically and abroad.Responsibilities include:Creating detailed fabrication drawings for new and existing parts and instructional drawings for installations.Designing 2-D and 3-D sketches and renderings utilizing a variety of computer programs for presentations and models for production, utilizing design software such as Illustrator, Autodesk Inventor, or SolidWorks.Engineering custom displays, supervising prototype development, creating quote drawings, production documents, and bills of materials.Direct interface with sales account executives, designers, estimators, production staff, and outside vendors.Handling special projects as needed.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.5 years of experience in a similar role.Previous experience working in the visual signage and display solutions environment.Knowledge of concept development, sketching, ideation skills, materials, and manufacturing processes.Experience in wood, plastics, metal, and printing is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
