**Your Job**As an Industrial Engineer at our Global Shared Plants (GSP) division in Guadalajara, your primary focus will be optimizing the distribution of spaces, people, time, and resources to achieve our desired production standards.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our production processes, contributing to our commitment to excellence in manufacturing.
**Our Team**You will be part of the GSP division, a dynamic group dedicated to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Our team collaborates closely with Operations, Production, Process Engineering, and other key departments to drive innovation and quality in manufacturing processes.
**What You Will Do- Optimize production capacities and resource allocation through time and motion studies.- Develop and standardize operations to enhance efficiency and consistency.- Design, evaluate, and modify production line layouts for optimal workflow.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.- Support production scheduling by verifying and updating time and movement data.- Create and update flowcharts to ensure efficient use of personnel and machinery.
**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.- Fluent in English with strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.- At least 3 years of plant manufacturing experience in a similar role.- Proficient in Lean Manufacturing principles.- Skilled in AutoCAD and Excel, particularly with formulas and macros.
**What Will Put You Ahead- Experience with Six Sigma or related disciplines.- Familiarity with SAP and FlexSim software.- Ability to effectively collaborate within multidisciplinary teams focused on cost reduction and quality improvement.
