In addition, this position will support task level planning and assembly sequencing efforts as well as supporting execution of products and continuos improvement manufacturing efforts.- Applies Industrial Engineering, ergonomics, value stream mapping and decision tools to promote and implement changes in Reynosa site.- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, Work Measurements Time and motion study, Standard Work, Productivity and Performance management, Capacity Analysis, Simulation Modeling, Cost Analysis and Estimating.- Coach and provide training on continuous improvement tools and methodologies. DMAIC, root cause analysis, SPC, other statistical techniques, etc.- Assists in the identification and implementation of process improvements by analyzing current processes and utilizing established improvement methodologies to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and to support company improvement initiatives and planned production levels.- Gathers and analyzes shop performance metrics in order to support a recommended plan of action- Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing operators to facilitate operation performance- Design of optimized human interfaces for the following areas:- Raw material delivery process, storage and line feed systems- Product flow and online material handling systems- WIP management, sizing and buffer storage systems- Ergonomic workstation design and layout- Process optimization- Layout of the workcell- Maintaining the plant layout to improve productivity and capacity- 5S housekeeping techniques- Keep production time standards updated- Develop/Sustain/Improve all assembly processes- Time study analysis to determine standard time and line balancing depending on takt times- Own and drive yield improvement programs- Capacity Sizing- PFMEA- Fixtures and Tools- Waste reduction activities- Automatization- Maintaining labor efficiency metrics accurate and actionable for the Mexicali site
