**Industrial Engineering Specialist**
San Luis Potosi
**Primary Purpose of the Position**
- Establish, install, and maintain wage incentive plans.
- Provide plant management with information, studies, and recommendations.
- Act as company representation in arbitration cases and assist production with labor problems and grievances.
- Support plant/ business center in achieving production goals.
**Principle Duties and Responsibilities**
- Independently develop time standard studies, evaluate ergonomic/motion in positions, maintain master data and provide it to management and union for studies.
- Independently determine factory manning, staffing and changes in labor requirements as required by ticket fluctuation and plant capacity. Support the Operation, Analysis & Improvement Leader on global processes Rvs.CC, S&OP, AOP and Ticket Acceptance.
- Coordinate with Engineering Department to conduct efficiency studies, justify capital expenditures/ investments, and recommend plant layout improvements.
- Independently conduct job analysis on positions, evaluation responsibilities, physical demands, working conditions, and skill levels. Participate and assist in the facilitation of focused improvement activities and become a partner of production team members.
- Make recommendations of pay scale and review as required.
**Education**
- Bachelor's Degree as Industrial & System Engineering, Engineering, or equivalent field of study.

**Experience**
- Minimum 2 years experience working with multidisciplinary engineering and maintenance associates to achieve cost effective goals.
- Experience in union environments.
- Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing environment.
**Knowledge & Skills**
- Ability to use appropriate computer-based technology
- Ability to use MOST (if required), Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing Preocesses
- Strong Analytical and problem solving skills.Ability to guide, mentor and train others
- Ability to direct internal work groups to achieve goals and objectives with a strong ability to manage by influence within an organization to accomplish these goals
- Demonstrated leadership and team building skills
- English is a plus
