**Job Description**: The Industrial Engineer is responsible for optimizing, supervising, and continuously improving manufacturing processes within the plant.
This professional works to ensure efficiency in production lines, reduction of operational costs, and improvement of the final product quality.
They focus on specific processes such as cutting, bending, and stamping of metallic materials or others, ensuring that operations are carried out under the required safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
**Main Responsibilities**:- ** Optimization of Manufacturing Processes**:- Analyze and improve cutting, bending, and stamping processes, aiming to increase efficiency and reduce cycle time.- Propose and implement changes in processes to boost productivity without compromising product quality.- Implement lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement methods (Kaizen) to optimize resources and time.- Lead TIP (Throughput Improvement Process) projects in collaboration with other engineers and multidisciplinary teams.- ** Quality Management**:- Ensure that processes comply with the quality standards established by the company and customers.- Develop and oversee quality control procedures to detect and prevent product defects.- Coordinate with quality teams to conduct inspections and periodic audits on production lines without affecting productivity.- ** Design and Process Improvement**:- Perform capacity analysis of equipment and propose improvements to plant layout.- Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, and production teams to ensure that production equipment is in optimal working condition.- ** Production Planning and Scheduling**:- Develop efficient production plans based on demand, plant capacity, and process times.- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing processes, such as cycle times, efficiency, and waste.- ** Safety and Regulations**:- Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with industrial safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations.- Identify potential risks in processes and develop action plans to mitigate them.- Promote a safety culture in the plant through continuous employee training.Qualifications:**Requirements**:Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields.
