**Position Title: Industrial Engineering and Continuous Improvement Manager**
**Reports to: Plant Manager**
**Work Location: Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, Mexico**
As an **Industrial Engineering and Continuous Improvement Manager**, you will be responsible for leading and managing industrial engineering projects, implementing lean methodologies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall operational performance.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

**Industrial Engineering**:
- Lead and manage industrial engineering projects to optimize processes and workflows.
- Conduct time and motion studies, process flow analysis, and capacity planning.
- Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement new systems and processes.
- Develop and implement work standards and best practices.
**Continuous Improvement**:
- Drive the implementation of lean methodologies and principles.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process efficiency.
- Conduct root cause analysis for operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Facilitate Kaizen events and other continuous improvement activities.
- Responsible for the 5s Program in Ramos Plant.
- Develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
**Project Management**:
- Plan, execute, and oversee industrial engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
- Monitor and report on project progress to senior management.
**Training and Development**:
- Provide training and mentorship to teams on industrial engineering concepts and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Foster a culture of learning and skill development within the organization.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions on lean principles and tools.
**Data Analysis and Reporting**:
- Analyze data related to operational performance and efficiency.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management.
- Utilize data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial engineering and continuous improvement roles **(headliners and overhead systems, door and console armrests, instrument panel trim components, and fiber solutions)**:
- **Knowledge of the automotive interior products industry.**:
- Strong knowledge of Lean Methodologies, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5's, JIT, Kan Ban, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 and other continuous improvement tools.
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Required.
- Proven project management skills and experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
