Industrial Engineering - Trainee

**Job Description Summary**:**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**- Develops strategies to improve manufacturing and reduce waste and line balancing.- Support recalibrating manufacturing equipment.- Monitor production assembly procedures.- Implementing new equipment to aid efficiency.- Coordinates the design, purchase, and installation of equipment to support changes in capacity or product design.- Develops concepts and designs for internal and external development that bring innovative solutions to complex problems.- Works with outside engineering firms and prepares machine specifications for new equipment purchases.- Assists in the analysis of production/product performance and identifies solutions to improve performance and achieve cost reductions.- Participates in cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives on schedule.- Accountable for the achievement of specific project tasks**Internship Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering.- Prior internship or Co-op experience Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field desired, but not required.- Ability to learn quickly, deal with ambiguity, take initiative and achieve results.- Statistical analysis preferred.- Strong computer skills, ideally with experience using Windows-based PC programs.- Excellent written and communications skills.- Ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines.**Primary Work Location**: MEX Reynosa**Additional Locations**:**Work Shift**:
