RIGHT NOW.Title:Industrial Relations SupervisorPrimary Location:Mexico (MX):CoahuilaIJD LoadersFunction:Human ResourcesMain ResponsibilitiesResponsible for administration of the labor agreement at the unit/site. This includes interpretation of the agreement, training, discipline and other related matters. May also be involved in training others in the Industrial Relations area and supervising the production and maintenance employee hiring. This is the 2nd level Industrial Relations job at a large and more complex unit/site with a population of typically +900 production/maintenance positions. This job typically reports to the HR OperationsManager. Other variables may affect the level of the IR Administrator/Supervisor job. This job may be larger than is typical for a given population if it involvesadditional functions not listed above or multiple collective bargaining agreements.What Skills You Need:Administers the local labor agreement including contract interpretation and answering contract:Related questions.:Assists supervisors of production/maintenance employees in regard to legal requirements and Company policies.:Participates in discipline necessary for production/maintenance employees and represents the Company in the first stages of grievances.:Assists with activities surrounding the compensation programs offered to production/maintenance employees at the unit/site.:Assists in the resolution of grievances that elevate above a certain level prior to arbitration.:Prepares memoranda for labor court cases.:Assists with employment level planning, job bidding, and the hiring process for production/maintenance employees.What Makes You Stand OutKnowledge of manufacturing processes and factory operations.Understanding of current labor agreement and labor law.Skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution.Understanding of compensation programs and benefit plans for production/maintenance employees.EducationDegree in Human Resources, Business Management, Labor Relations, others.
