Excellent safetyrecord.- Strong administrative, budgetary, and record keeping skills.**Activities/Responsibilities**:- Manages activities of local IT department including, LAN management, systems, desktop services and telecommunications staff.- Works with IT and plant/business unit management in executing the steps necessary to the attainment of the corporate goals and objectives.- Provides recommendations for operational and system improvement. Works with users to prepare cost/benefit analysis, user and projects specifications.- Ensures the highest level of customer satisfaction is maintained on an on-going basis. Promotes an atmosphere of ownership of customer issues and demonstrates appropriate empathy and concern.- Collaborates with RT on special projects.- Manages relationship/expectations with internal and external clients.- Manages small projects which require less than 40 hours to complete and do not require external plant resources.- Ensures IT standards are maintained. Manages exceptions to these standards.- Supports plant management on program management.- Ensures licensure compliance for plant/facility.- Supervises work performance and provides staff with timely feedback and coaching. Clearly, communicate performance and conduct expectations. Formally assesses performance. Assists employees in developing skills and correcting performance issues. Recommends the release of employees as warranted- Assists in the selection of new employees. Trains new staff members on proper material policies and procedures. Familiarizes employees with Company policies and procedures. Actively promotes the Company, AAP/EEO programs.
