.Infrastructure & Construction Project ManagerThe Project Manager is responsible for planning and managing strategically important projects from implementation through completion within Essity.
The Project Manager usually manages larger and more complex, long-term or international projects that significantly affect the organization (e.G., GHS, GHC, etc).
The role is responsible for managing projects in line with predefined budgets and timeframes.About the RoleAreas of ResponsibilityManage and lead infrastructure, construction, and civil engineering projects within ESSITY as a member of the PMO GSC LATAM and in coordination with the central Civils Mgmt.
Team of the Essity Technology Project Management organization.Support Essity project managers and infrastructure managers on site.Preparation of civil engineering and design tenders to meet ESSITY standards and requirements.Selection and management of contractors for design disciplines and construction.Control of safety management in cooperation with internal and external experts.Cost, quality, and time management as sub-manager for large investment projects.Interface management of participating construction companies to interdisciplinary suppliers.Site management - no safety problems, on time, within budget and in good quality.What You Will DoAction tracking as per support agreement with Essity Site Management, BU Mgmt.
and local Infrastructure and Building Management.Support local project managers on all aspects of construction projects (TG1-TG5) at Essity sites, including preparation of mandatory Capex Request documents for project approval.Active role in the Building Condition Assessment (BCA) process, including formalized follow-up and support.RESH interface management as part of BCA and network communications.Infrastructure network activities, including development of training, best practices, information sharing, etc.Participate in development and execution of construction management trainings.Development of Essity standard building maintenance system as team action.Work closely with external general contractors, civil engineers, and other professionals in the development of construction and site development planning.Lead the tender process for the selection of the General Contractor in accordance with ESSITY requirements and standards.Contract preparation in conjunction with internal project management, legal, and procurement departments.Appointment of the construction management team (if applicable).Lead the handover process to plant management during and after plant commissioning.Who You AreExperience:Min.
3-5 years of demonstrated experience in construction project management.Proven successful experience with industrial facility construction.Management of construction contracts.Excellent communication skills for construction and interface management.Ability to influence team members and others, including management and across long distances
