Responsibilities The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced S&T IT Infrastructure & Support Lead to oversee and uphold our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems program, namely Siemens TeamCenter (TC) and FoodChain ID (FCID). As the PLM Infrastructure & Support Lead, you will be responsible for landing, maintaining, and optimizing the technical infrastructure that supports our PLM software and related systems. This role requires a deep understanding of IT infrastructure at PepsiCo, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including 3rd party vendors acting as the software implementation team as well as software providers.
Your Impact As a Manager your scope would consist of:
Manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure components supporting PLM systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.Oversee the configuration and administration of servers, storage, networking, and virtualization environments critical to PLM operations.PLM System Support:Provide technical leadership and support for TC and FCID applications and integrations.Collaborate with R&D stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Team Leadership:Lead a dotted line team of infrastructure engineers and technicians, providing guidance, mentoring, and technical expertise.Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment focused on delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions.Vendor Management:Manage relationships with Accenture, Siemens, FCID and other service providers across the PepsiCo IT landscape ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and issues are resolved promptly.Security and Compliance:Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures related to TC and FCID implementation plans.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations relevant to PLM operations.Documentation and Training:Maintain comprehensive documentation of PLM infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and end-users as needed. Qualifications Who Are We Looking For? Key Skills/Experience Required: Proven experience (10+ years) in IT infrastructure management, with specific expertise in supporting PLM systems.Mandatory Technical Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.Strong knowledge of server administration, virtualization technologies (VMware), networking protocols, and storage solutions.Experience with PLM software (Siemens Teamcenter or FCID a plus) and their integration with other R&D systems.Solid understanding of IT security best practices and compliance requirements.Mandatory Non-Technical Skills: Project management experience, including Agile methodologies.Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and influence stakeholders.If this is an opportunity that interests you, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet 100% of the requirements.
