Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.Performs a variety of routine engineering assignments under the direction of a supervisor with increasing responsibility based on performance.Consults with supervisor to screen assignments for unusual or difficult problems and selects appropriate methods and techniques to apply.Receives close supervision on new aspects of assignment but has some freedom to exercise judgment in making engineering decisions.Drafts interpretation of own design into completed working drawings and applies engineering fundamentals to design.May be assisted by a designer, but usually assumes no responsibility for direction of others.Performs routine calculations and work on PC system.Communicates with supervisor concerning progress or problems in an assigned task.Knowledge of US Codes: ASCE7, IBC, ACI 318, AISC 360.Masonry & Wood experience.Post-tensioned concrete experience.Seismic Design Category D / High seismic design experience / basic knowledge.What You Will Bring:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering as Civil Engineer and Master's Degree in Structural Design or Sciences (This is desirable).Five to seven (5 - 7) years of related practical experience with former employer(s).Advanced English level.Experience with REVIT and Structural Engineering
