.Job DescriptionWe are hiring Process Engineer!For our Manufacturing facility at ApodacaWe're looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join our team!The Process Engineer coordinates new program launches, sets up manufacturing processes, and helps with problem-solving and process improvements. This position will focus on manufacturing processes while planning, directing, and coordinating manufacturing equipment and processes to produce high-quality injection molded products.Profile:Bachelor's Degree (Desired Master´s) in Plastics, Engineering, Technical, Mechanical Engineering, Science, Technology, Industrial Engineering, Medical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.Position requires 5+ years of experience in process manufacturing.Hands-on experience driving innovation process from end-to-end.Desire certifications such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.Experience and diverse technical background in injection molding processing, tooling, equipment, materials, manufacturing and quality.Ability to manage multiple start-up projects.Proficient English.Responsibilities:Provide technical leadership and mentorship to process technicians, operators, and other molding personnel.Develop and maintain process documentation to ensure that processes and procedures are clearly stated and understood by all employees.Provide technical support and solutions to manufacturing processes, improve efficiency and throughput, drive cost reduction activities, and improve part quality.Demonstrate the ability to start up, operate, and shut down process-related equipment. Must be able to work independently on new process development and troubleshooting current production issues.Work with equipment and material vendors to resolve machine and material issues.Monitor and report issues with injection molds, make recommendations for refurbishment based on production factors such as cycles, process capability, and tooling history.Interact with customers to resolve issues and provide new project updates.Implement technical solutions, including statistical methodologies, to meet customer cost, quality, and delivery expectations.Lead all aspects of production processes in manufacturing to ensure that equipment and workflows enhance efficiency, improve productivity, minimize waste, and meet safety and quality standards.Set up and revise manufacturing processes; assist manufacturing operations with problem-solving.Monitor the efficiency of processes.Quantify results, document, and present findings to management, and prepare reports.Manage equipment: Test, monitor, and maintain equipment to ensure it meets standards.Research new equipment: Research, price, and assist in purchasing new equipment.Collect and interpret data: Gather data on efficiency and budgets to report to management.Develop and configure industrial processes.Design, upgrade, and operate systems and processes; improve systems and thequality of each process output.Document and report usage to executives
