**SUMMARY OF JOBS**:
The ink specialist is responsible for the ink store and washing room.
Ensures that all inks are available on site in the correct quantities as well as responsible for the correct consumption of returned inks.
Coordinate improvement projects in Printing department with the goal of improving quality, optimizing processes and reducing/eliminating waste.
Technical responsibility for the ink store and washing room.
Ensure that all inks are available on site in the correct quantities as well as responsible for the correct consumption of returned inks.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Independent preparation, provision, and removal/storage of printing inks according to time, quantity, requirements, and quality requirements.
Ensure the cleanliness of rooms and equipment
Create and configure colors of pump patterns
Release new ink batch for production
Ensure calibration of all equipment is maintained
Act proactively and sustainably by seeking to minimise the impact of our operations on the environment and by committing to the company's environmental policy to ensure compliance with SIG Combibloc standards.
Work according to the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice to ensure the production of safe packaging for customers and consumers and participate in all quality procedures under your responsibility to ensure compliance with SIG Combibloc standards.

**YOU BRING THESE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION**:
Printing Industry experience 3-5 years
**Education**: Technical Degree, TSU Preferred, High School (min req.)
**Language Skills**: Basic English & Spanish Fluent
Advanced MS Office
