The Inside Sales Representative, Sales operations position will focus on North American Industrial Service Business. This business focuses on selling maintenance and repair services to Donaldson's customer base. This opportunity is great for someone with previous customer service, sales operations or inside sales experience who is looking to work for Donaldson an industry leader. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, enjoys working together with sales peers, takes pride in attention to details, and has the ability to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment. Someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and motivated by growth and expansion would enjoy this position. Prior experience in the industrial service or industrial equipment space would be beneficial for this role. Role Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming leads from both internal and external sources.
- Utilize CRM to document and assign to the appropriate field salesperson for follow up.
- Make the first communication with customers to ensure their requests are being handled.
- Prioritize leads to make sure high priority issues are delegated quickly to field sales.
- Follow up with service sales team to ensure all leads have been handled.
- Support field sales by helping write service quotes for customers.
- Collaborate with fellow Donaldson industrial sales teams to win business together.
- Provide post-sale customer support to ensure expectations were met.
- Utilize all CRM and approved sales tools.
TRAVEL: Not required, but some opportunity for training purposes
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in a related field
- Fluent in English both verbally and written
- 2+ years of indirect/direct sales experience or 2+ years of industrial equipment or service experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industrial product knowledge
- Prior experience with Industrial Dust, Fume & Mist Collection Solutions
- Ability to thrive in a self-directed environment
- Technical aptitude, general mechanical
- Strong organization and planning
- Time management
- Experience in a B2B brokerage environment
