We are seeking a highly motivated and go-getter type mentality to join the Service Sales Team at Quantum.
In this role, you will work with our existing customer base to renew their support and service contracts of Quantum hardware and software products.
If you enjoy having a high impact on company revenue while building long-term relationships with customers, resellers, and other internal departments, then this is the position you are looking for.
Openness to change and flexibility is needed as the sales cycle is diverse and we are constantly introducing new products and services to our customers.
Job Responsibilities: Responsible for growth of our Service Renewal Business including upselling and driving towards quota attainment against targets for territories in the North American Region. Find/create incremental business opportunities and drive closure within dedicated customer account base. Utilize existing tools to mine data and define opportunities, ensure the integrity of client information maintained in the database systems. Assist Business Partners in the capturing of Renewal and Service Uplift Contracts. Establish and maintain consultative and long-term relationships with VARs and end-users through building a strong rapport and offering excellent customer service. Provide Customer Support (internal and external) as needed. Work with sales counterparts to resolve discrepant contract issues, purchase orders are raised, invoices are paid, etc. Required Skills and/or Experience: Must have Telesales or Inside Sales experience including inbound and outbound phone sales. Experience in the Data storage/software industry is required. Dependable, organized, and focused.
Able to multi-task and prioritize without direct supervision. Experience in Account management strongly preferred. Computer literate.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (primarily Excel and Word) and Salesforce required. Direct customer contact required; therefore, superior oral and written communication skills are critical. Energetic, positive, and professional disposition. 2-Tier distribution (reseller-level experience) preferred, but not required. Previous experience working in a Service Sales environment would be a useful asset dealing particularly with partners & End-Users in a multi-tiered environment. Prefer: Bachelor's Degree; reseller-level experience. Why Should You Join Quantum? Range: $60,000 to $100,000
The above pay range represents Quantum's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Pay within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, relevant experience, knowledge/education, skills/abilities, internal equity, and budgetary considerations.
