Description
**Mission**:
- Proactive management of Insolvency cases assigned
- Perform all the required steps to maximize recoveries under the bankruptcy proceedings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and international colleagues to deliver excellent.
- customers service and maximize client retention.
- Active participation in department's continuous improvement and process review activities.
**Main responsibilities**
- Daily acceptance of new file assignment in the tool
- Proactive monitoring of insolvency cases
- Monitor proceedings through Pacer and/or request updates from Trustees/agent
- Update the information in IMX (summarize and upload required documentation)
- Notify any potential stakeholders
- Classify incoming mail and cheques, scan copies in the file
- Concisely record notes/summaries when relevant in the tool
- File required documents as mandated by the Courts/Trustees/ Agent (i.e Proof of claims, supporting documents, replies to inquiries)
- Monitor if any distributions are expected and ensure that the company receives payment accordingly,
- investigate where need be if payments not received
- Inform the client and all other stakeholders of amount owed to the company (salvage letter) when distributions where paid to client directly, inform if any fees is also owed in accordance with the terms of the Policy.
- Liaise with the Accounting department to advise of any amounts owed by client (as per defined process)
**Communication and customer service**:
- Provide professional communication and assistance in a timely manner to all partners
- Educate different stakeholders on the process and keep them abreast of any major developments
- Take ownership of issues, foster a culture of being the first point of resolution of issues, reach out to other departments to resolve issues when needed
**Reporting**
- Provide support for the production of daily/weekly/monthly reports as requested
- Assists with preparation of monthly/quarterly reports on top inventory items (Insolvencies with most cases and dollar amount)
