**General Job Description**:
**Under general supervision perform the following activities**:
- Classifies merchandise according to PCS change customs government regulations, restrictions and import/export duty rates.
- Performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties requiring direct and indirect customer.
- Classifies merchandise according with customs government duty rates.
- Fills entry forms depending on the commodity.
- Interface with customers on customs related issues.
- Types or otherwise prepares various operations reports.
- Maintains and audits all records and files as assigned.
- Provides administrative and clerical support to Manager.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned
**Minimum Requirements**:
**Minimum Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree/Equivalent.
**Minimum Experience**:
- Previous clerical or customer service experience in a service environment.
- Eighteen (18) months experience on customs clearance broker activities.
**Minimum Required Skills**:
- Knowledge on import and export duty rates.
- Average general office skills required including light typing, filing and computer literacy.
- Good communication and human relations skills.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and to maneuver any single package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
- Clean cut and neat appearance.
- Fluent in English preferred.
