This includes collecting and analyzing data from various sources, preparing reports and presentations, and making recommendations for improvement based on research findings. The Analyst will also be responsible for collaborating with other departments to support data-driven decision-making.**Duties and Responsibilities**:- Collect and analyze data from various sources, including student records, faculty and staff surveys, and institutional data systems.- Prepare reports and presentations on research findings, including trends, patterns, and recommendations for improvement.- Collaborate with other departments, including Admissions, Student Services, and Academic Affairs, to support data-driven decision-making.- Stay up-to-date on trends and best practices in institutional research.- Attend industry events and conferences to network and stay current on new developments in the field.- Assist with the development and implementation of assessment and accreditation plans for the university.- Contribute to the development and maintenance of institutional data systems and processes.- Advise faculty and staff on research methods and data analysis.- Other duties as assigned.**The minimum requirements**:- A bachelor's or master's degree in a related field, such as statistics, mathematics, social sciences, or a related field.- Several years of experience in institutional research or data analysis, preferably in a higher education setting.- Strong understanding of research methods, statistical analysis, and data visualization, and ability to use these skills to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to the university.- Familiarity with data management systems, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, student information systems (SIS), and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.- Ability to develop and manage databases, and to extract and transform data from various sources for analysis.- Strong organizational and project management skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to collaborate effectively with colleagues in other departments and across the university
