The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and thrive in meeting tight deadlines.The role offers opportunities to influence high-impact areas throughout the organization.This position is based in Mexico City, Mexico.Key job responsibilitiesManage the instock function, including forecasting, ordering, capacity management, instock rates, and unhealthy inventory management.Develop and enhance import ordering strategies to optimize the balance between domestic and import sourcing.Contribute to buying automation and system auditing initiatives in partnership with technical and product teams.Work on supply chain optimization and defect reduction in collaboration with operations teams.Monitor, analyze, and take ownership of key performance indicators such as vendor import share, out-of-stock percentages, vendor lead time, fill rate, unhealthy inventory, and forecast accuracy for import selection.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of Excel experience5+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experienceBachelor's degree, or certificate of completion of studies requiredFluent in both English and SpanishPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of the principles of statistical inventory controlExperience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six SigmaOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
