As an** Instrumentation and Control Engineer**, you will be responsible for the optimization and alignment of the discipline in the arrangement of controls and instruments during the construction phase of the project. Your objective will be to achieve efficient development in accordance with engineering documents, specifications and current regulations; through the interpretation of arrangements established in the base engineering, as well as the adjustment of these to comply with site conditions, process requirements, maintenance and good practices.
This position reports to the Project Manager.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage and ensure the functionality of the instrumentation, as well as compliance with good practices in the arrangements (location - position) and wiring through performance supervisors
- Guarantee the performance (functionality - know-how) established in the development of the basic and detailed engineering of the project during the construction process
- Validate, approve and verify the solution to possible deviations in the assembly process of equipment and services of the project
- Guide in the interpretation of control and instrumentation arrangements, and all documents related to the discipline in the construction process of the project
- Validate the progress and results of the discipline
**Qualifications**
- Education Level: Control and Instrumentation Engineer.
- More than 10 years of work experience in infrastructure project activities.
- Knowledge of PLC / IO / PC, servers, operating consoles, fiber optics, industrial ethernet networks and communication.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Project and Excel.
- Familiar with codes and standards: ISA, API 670, ANSI/NEMA, NEC NFPA 70, ATEX, IECX and NOM.
- Ability to work with projects from various disciplines.
- Constant communication with multidisciplinary team.
- English language 60%
