Instrumentation Technician

As an Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for calibrating and maintaining inspection, measurement, and testing equipment, in accordance with established procedures and manuals, in order to guarantee the accuracy, reliability, and repeatability of the results of the analyses performed. You will also ensure that the inspection, measurement, and testing equipment is kept in good working condition with respect to its calibration and/or verification status.This position reports to the Quality Control Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesComply with the calibration program for inspection, measurement, and testing equipment in a timely manner.Follow up on purchase requisitions for calibration and external maintenance services, as well as equipment, supplies, and spare parts for the instruments.Train and advise users of inspection, measurement, and testing equipment in order to help with proper use and maintain the calibration status.Comply with and ensure the validity of the activities considered in the procedures corresponding to their activities.Document the calibration status of inspection, measurement, and testing equipment through the corresponding reports.Systematically perform the analysis of the results derived from verifications and calibrations in order to adjust the execution periods and postpone the application without affecting the continuity of the operation.QualificationsTechnician or Unfinished Career related to Metrology.Two years minimum experience in metrology processes.Knowledge of scales, flow meters, thermometers, pressure gauges, and laboratory equipment in general.Knowledge of official standards related to the subject of metrology.Basic English.You will have benefits: Health Insurance, Life Insurance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
