**Job Summary**:The Intelligence Analyst, Duty of Care Program supplies and maintains analytical services on geopolitical and security developments in the region.
The analyst will detect, analyze, and advise on adverse conditions that could affect the safety and security of the client's expat community.
These conditions include but are not limited to political instability and unrest, crime, kidnapping, terrorism, and natural hazard risks.
**Essential Functions**:- Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.- In depth understanding of principal geopolitical and physical security risks and its impact on private sector.- Plan, research, and write regular analytical reports delivering actionable insights.- Brief customers on the threat environment for their reassignment destination.- Ability to work under pressure, demonstrate leadership when required and collaborate effectively with geographically dispersed teams.- Actively monitor regional security incidents to determine potential impact and maintain an awareness of strategic trends throughout the region.- Conduct strategic analysis on large data sets to include metrics, physical security trends, aggregate incidents, crime stats, etc.- Identify gaps in current analysis products and develop new solutions, methodologies and products to help improve reporting, especially with regards to data driven analysis.- Handling multiple simultaneous tasks and prioritize accordingly- All other duties, as assigned.
**Education, Experience, and Certifications**:Master's degree or higher with five years in relevant field and/ or formal government/military/law enforcement intelligence training.
**Competencies**:- Minimum 5 years intelligence analysis experience (corporate experience is preferred).- Excellent written and spoken English.
Foreign language ability is a plus- Broad understanding of intelligence in world affairs- Operational familiarity in position specific regions, preferably with existing network of contacts.- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.- Clarity of thought and analytical flare.- Attentive to detail and accuracy.- Familiarity with producing interactive data visualization using Tableau.- Experience in data mining methods and demonstrated ability to interpret complex data.- Able to work in a fast-paced environment under multiple deadlines and competing priorities
