.**Duties**:- Serves as Deputy Chief, Information Analysis Center (IAC) in the US Embassy, Mexico City, Mexico. Works with the Chief in planning, organizing, and overseeing the activities of the IAC.- Leads a wide variety of complex and non-routine collection and operations projects/programs to support component, combatant command, and support agency planning and operations. Manages a broad range of activities to facilitate development, execution, dissemination, and assessment of Counter Drug intelligence information within the USNORTHCOM area of responsibility, U.S. LEA, U.S. IC, and/or international security organizations (e.G. Mexican Military, Mexican Interagency organizations) ensuring a seamless interface of information.- Responsible for overseeing, developing, and presenting fusion analysis and production in reference to TCO operational methods, capabilities, vulnerabilities, and the threat they present to US and Mexican interests.- Exercises personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to assigned staff regarding policies, procedures, and directives.**Requirements**:**Conditions of Employment**:- U.S. Citizenship Required- All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.- Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal and Regulatory Guide- Employee must maintain current certifications- Disclosure of Political Appointments- Direct Deposit: All federal employees are required to have direct deposit- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft in accordance with Joint Travel Regulations in performance of temporary duty (TDY).- or no-notice recall to duty during exercises, crises, or contingencies.- Employee will be required to attend periodic command and/or civic related social functions and related events after normal duty hours.- In the performance of assigned duties, employee uses tact, diplomacy, and professionalism to promote effective working relationships with a variety of offices and agencies.- Position is not eligible for telework since it requires daily access to classified material. Employee may be eligible during emergency or OPM prescribed "unscheduled Telework." Supervisor approval is required on case-by-case basis.- Pre-Employment Requirement: Employee must obtain and maintain an Official Diplomatic Passport and VISA as a condition of employment.**Qualifications**:- This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level.
