This role is ideal for a recent graduate or an individual early in their career, who is passionate about renewable energy and eager to contribute to the development and execution of interconnection projects. The successful candidate will support our Interconnection Project Management and Transmission Analytics teams in ensuring the seamless integration of renewable energy projects into the power grid. This position reports to the Director of Transmission and Interconnection.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the development, coordination, and management of interconnection projects from inception to completion.Support the Transmission Analytics team in analyzing grid data, identifying potential issues, and developing solutions.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and utility companies, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and technical standards.Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and presentations related to interconnection projects.Participate in project meetings, providing updates on project status, and assisting in resolving any issues that arise.Conduct research on interconnection policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure our projects are aligned with industry standards.Assist in the preparation of applications and permits required for interconnection processes.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the interconnection and transmission analytics teams.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on Power Systems.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and utilize complex data.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Proficiency in using engineering software and tools related to power systems and grid analysis.Experience or knowledge using load flow applications such as PowerWorld, PSSE, TARA is highly desirable.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and teamwork.Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies is highly desirable.Prior education or experience in project management is a plus.No third-party solicitations will be accepted for this or any other Ecoplexus position.Ecoplexus offers a competitive salary, strong bonus structures, and a benefits program.Ecoplexus is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer
