.We are hiring an**What You Will Be Doing**:- Ability to provide interior design solutions using product lines and manufacturers within our portfolio.- Technical furniture specifications, product positioning and pricing.- Responsible for design offering and furniture's output accuracy.- Direct Support for company's internal customers, A&Ds, and dealers' sales efforts.- Deliberate product positioning against competitor's product selection.- At Steelcase, we know that work matters and can provide people with a deep sense of purpose. We will continue to maintain this practice as part of our larger hybrid work strategy.- While flexibility varies by role and team, we support choice and control for our employees so they can choose the best place to do their best work.**Who You Are**:**Required Skills and Competencies**- Bachelor's degree preferred in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design or similar.- 1-2 years of experience in similar role.- Advanced English is a must.- Familiar with Audits and similar pre-order processes- Knowledge in AutoCAD 2D, SketchUp, Photoshop and Adobe Suite is preferred.- Outstanding customer support, as well as excellent writing and verbal communication skills.- Proven organizational and time management skills.- Ability to multi-task and work with multiple internal/external clients simultaneously.- Ability to work well independently and cross-functionally as part of a team.- Detail oriented and highly organized.- Provide expert design solutions with mínimal supervision.- High level of commitment.- Must have demonstrated capability to manage and fulfill customer design needs.- Able to solve problems with a logical approach and with a time frame**Preferred Skills and Competencies**- Familiar with Audits and similar pre-order processes- MS Office environment proficient- Develop knowledge base of regional codes (Fire codes, hard wiring, etc.)- Developing a general knowledge of CET and relevant design software**Why People Choose to Work With Us**:At Steelcase, we put people at the center of everything we do.
