An ALLDATA Intern position has a background in programming coursework at a Bachelors level. Primarily responsible for coding, testing and documenting software-based tools as assigned and ensures tools implementation succeeds. Aim to achieve optimal outcomes by supporting one another.The Intern will manage a working schedule of 5 hours per day, with a 5-day work week (usually Monday through Friday).Additionally, a hybrid work format is managed meaning some days are worked in the office and the other days worked from home.Other benefits to consider is that the you are allowed to use the food court where a complete hot meal is offered the days you work from the office, as well as access to the gym within the facilities to practice certain recreational activities or to train.**Responsibilities**:- Coding, development, document and test software-based solutions- Help the team programming, planning and executing business objectives- Assist in resolving business issues using systems and data- Help on launching new initiatives- Assist senior programmers in their work duties- Maintain a positive, teachable attitude throughout the internship**Skills & Qualifications**:- Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program (Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or similar)- Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages (preferred JAVA)- Familiarity with SQL syntax and query logic to be able to perform basic SQL statements- Experience with Microsoft Office- Ability to think creatively and work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment- Punctuality and attentiveness- Ability to follow instructions- Knowledge in JIRA, UX/UI and GitHub is a plus.- Database server side programming is also a plus (SQL Server, Oracle or PostgreSQL)
