**Job Description Summary**:
**Role Summary/Purpose**
**Essential Responsibilities**
- Defining requirements for operational performance metrics tools
- Building software framework for tools to analyze performance of aviation engines software and hardware processes and production
- This tools will help the Controls teams to troubleshoot bottlenecks and optimize planning resources, scaling teams and delivering solutions
- Development and validation of front-end and back-end of web-based solutions, processing inputs from different databases and developing friendly, useful data visualization.
This could imply using available code and improving it
- In this role you will use and further develop your deep knowledge in areas including requirements definition, system design, implementation, and data analysis
- You will have the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement solutions by delivering software to recommend decisions to Aviation Engines operation
**Qualifications / Requirements**
- Bachelor's student in computer science or equivalent
- Curious and passionate about a software development career and aviation engineering and business
- Programming foundations on R, Python, or equivalent language and databases processing
- Experience in design or architecture (design patterns, efficiency, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Effective written and oral English communication skills
- Advocate to quality and formal documentation
- Proven ability to work independently
**Desired Characteristics**
- Experience in full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Self-taught with a demonstrated aptitude for acquiring knowledge and skills and new technologies readily
- Experience working with dashboards
