Whether you are an experienced professional or skilled manufacturer, a recent graduate ready to make an impact or a student eager to gain hands-on internship experience — with a career at Plexus, you can make a real difference.OVERVIEWContribute to industrial design efforts in various stages of product commercializationRESPONSIBILITIES- Help develop user-centric design solutions that solve complex problems- Participate in brainstorms and internal project reviews- Support research activities (new technologies and process implementation)- Process and documentation support- Learn about product commercialization developmentMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Student working toward a Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Electrical, Programming, Mechanical and Mechatronic careers.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Junior level status (preferred coursing last semester of their career but not limited)- Experience in software development (ex. C++, LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, etc.)- Desirable knowledge in Mechanical design (ex. Software platforms, 3D print, machining usage etc.)- Open to learn new skills (technical and soft skills) and share new ideas- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate and present ideas internally/externally- Negotiation and problem solving skills
