Intern - Translation

**Position Summary**:- Translates automotive content for AutoZone's stores system Z-Net and websites including: fitment notes, product attributes, banners, promotional information, trustworthy advice, etc. by using Trados Tool**Job Responsibilities- Other duties may be assigned**:- **70% **Translates all automotive content for Z-Net and the websites including: fitment notes, product attributes, banners, promotional information, trustworthy advice, etc.- **10% **Researches new sources of translation aids, for example: vendor and manufcturer's websites, glossaries, dictionaries, etc. Conducts informal surveys with AZ stores personnel about terminology.- **10% **Translates documents as requested, examples: data entry instructions, commercial materials, e-commerce webpage, deals and promotions, manuals, etc.- **10% **Maintains and improves the Translation Memories, and the AZ Multilingual Dictionary**Skills and Requirements**:- Level of formal education: Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program- Area of study: Foreign languages, translation- Years of Experience: 6 months preferable- Type of experience: Translator, editor, technical writer, language teacher- Special certifications or technical skills: TOEFL (English-Spanish), excellent knowledge of automotive terminology, computer skills, CAT tools (Trados), CELPE-BRAS (English-Portuguese) is a plus.- Other/preferred: Excellent communication skills. Able to perform simultaneous translation.
