Please refer to our website for more information:CIMMYT is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and service-oriented professional for the position of Internal Auditor to support the Director of the Internal Audit unit in the discharge of their duties.
The internal auditor will evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of CIMMYTs governance, risk management and control processes at headquarters and in the regional operations.
The position will be based in either Mexico, Zimbabwe or India.
Specific duties:Providing Assurance, as a member of the internal audit unit:Participate in the Annual Planning Process.
Conduct detailed risk-based audit work and document findings to a high standard and within budget.
Develop and submit timely audit work and draft findings.
Monitor actions were taken by management within the audit software MKInsight.
Maintaining a high-performing Internal Audit Unit improvement and innovation:Provide input into the future shape and direction of the Internal Audit Unit.
Maintain high-quality work standards and remain up to date with the evolution of standards and practices Management support and learning:Maintain respectful andeffective communications and relationships with management and staff areas under review.
Facilitate the share of learning.
Contribute to systems development work within CIMMYT, providing independent advice regarding appropriate levels of internal control.
