GENERAL DESCRIPTION

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Verifiable experience as General Supervisor in logistics, minimum 5 years.
**Schooling**: Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Leadership, communication, motivation and team integration skills.
Knowledge of spreadsheets, power point and all computer skills.
Strong knowledge of SAP.
Problem solving.
Bilingual Spanish / English.

Knowledge in areas of materials, Internal Logistics, External Logistics, customs, planning, purchasing, transportation, inventory control and warehouse management
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES
Manages the fulfillment of company objectives.
Coordinates and expedites materials, parts and assemblies between sections or departments, according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities
Is responsible for WIP and warehouse inventories, inventory accuracy and timely delivery of material to the production floor.
Leads and develops the correct execution of delivery and reception.
Performs communication, planning and feedback activities prior to the departure of the material to guarantee shipments.
Supervises and evaluates the activities of the staff according to company standards.
Responsible for process optimization in the Logistics Department.
Also, ensure that the department objectives for PSP / DMAIC / OPS, IDEAS are met.
Ensure the monitoring of the processes, by the assigned team (SAP Transactions, Checklist, H&S).
Effective execution and development in the Changeover year.
Participate in the compliance of the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for your function in relation to ISO9001:2015.
Comply with the safety rules determined according to your function.
Comply on time with the planned training related to Quality and Training.
Identify and report any issues regarding quality and compliance and support corrective actions.
