Your day to day Plans and coordinates Internal Logistic Department that is responsible for all materials delivery within manufacturing area, ensuring these activities are performed in control and according applicable law and practices and in a most cost efficient way Plan and lead activities of internal logistics operations in compliance to Sustainability, Quality and Legal requirements.
Support Internal Logistics Operations lead in manageing and deploying an autonomous/self-sufficient team according to Internal Logistics RTT/Open/IOS pillar capabilities, through the line structure Contribute to the strategy definition (linked to Internal Logistics RTT/Open/IOS) for Factory Logistics, supporting Factory Logistics Manager and Internal Logistics Operations lead, and ensure Internal Logistics RTT deployment in Internal Logistics Cells.
Act as role model of Internal Logistics RTT/OPEN Tools with Learn Do Teach approach.
Capabilities Ensure that all LSP and PMI internal logistics team comply with all PMI and legal standards, policies and guidelines related to Environment, Health, Safety, Sustainability to prevent personnel, asset or societal loss.
Act and promote an interdependent and transparent safety culture in LSP and PMI internal logistics team by fostering the utilization of preventive/predictive approach in line with Internal Logistics RTT/Open/IOS Perform on a regular basis housekeeping and safety audits to validate storage conditions, sanitation and product integrity according to PMI warehousing guidelines.
Propose and ensure implementation of corrective actions where necessary.
Organize business processes at assigned work area in compliance with Sustainability rules, policies and procedures.
Evaluate risks at work places, take appropriate measures for risks reduction.
Secure uninterrupted provision of world class customer service via replenishment on time by coordinating 3rd party LSPs.
Lead the line DDS to ensure timely triggers and corrective actions are closed to improve the KPIs.
Ensure the end-to-end business review for the internal logistics operation by contributing to Factory Logistics department strategy according to Internal Logistics RTT/Open/IOS (PDCA cycle).
Oversight and own the process of Product Handling (PH) being sure that it is properlydeployed and that is the most effective to maximize the performance results and organizational health of internal logistics lines Monitor & Control performance of external partners according to contractual terms and PMI standards.
Organize regular KPIs reviews with LSP to monitor and ensure proper actions from the provider to meet and exceed Service Level Agreement (SLA) Continuously monitor applicable KPIs and take corrective actions to ensure budget and internal business targets are met.
Identify productivity improvement opportunities based on internal loss analysis and proactive external benchmarking, lead productivity initiatives in the department to ensure the timely reach to productivity targets.
Ensure proper usage of available systems and resources to keep optimal balance between cost, quality, service, safety and security requirements.
Create, establish and review robust and sufficient plans to achieve daily resources and workload planning and enable flow-to-work in the highest utilization level Execute PM BOS's on the shopfloor to identify, propose and deploy WPI initiatives to achieve loss elimination in internal logistics processes.
Ensure focus on delivering productivity targets by eliminating losses in processes related to Facilities Management and Other SVC & Overtime.
Lead/co-lead the Capacity Management and Zoning/Slotting DMS's to reach the ideal capacity utilization level in the layout and lowest travel time in operations.
Perform regular coaching to develop capabilities of the team on the daily management systems according to the Internal Logistics RTT/Open/IOS and to support in the personnel skill/technical development of each team member in order to build ownership and team autonomy.
Suport the development of the autonomous/self-sufficient team as per Internal Logistics RTT/Open/IOS journey, focusing on ownership, capabilities and leadership growth.
Create an environment in which each member of the team is motivated to express own talent and potential.
Take responsibility for the completion of own and team training and development plan and comply with the established requirements.
Act as Pillar Member of the assigned pillar Contribute to the full year pillar plan definition and implementation aligned with OPEN Phase journey.
Participate and contribute to pillar reviews definition and implementation as per defined frequency.
