[Internal Only]: Teacher Advisory Panel (2024-25 School Year), #997: Cmo
Empresa:

Ingenium Schools

Detalles de la oferta

Teacher Advisory Panel 2024-25 School Year Teachers leaders teach full-time and fulfill additional duties based on school or Ingenium-wide need. This role is a one-year stipend position, unless otherwise noted. Roles will be determined based on applicants and organizational needs. Stipends will be split into monthly payments based on the number of months the work is performed (i.e., 11 months). Number of Openings: 5 maximum Description Acts as a representative for the teacher body and school site. Meets 5 times throughout the year on an "Advisory Panel" to represent teachers' needs. Actively solicits and brings the concerns of the school and teacher body to the panel with the desire to promote solutions. Shares updates from the "Advisory Panel" with the school site with a consistent method. Meets regularly with site leadership to deliver site-specific feedback and to determine best methods for sharing updates. Eligibility Requirements Has an open-minded approach to continual improvement. Is able to consistently attend monthly meetings after school. Uses solutions-oriented communication. Knows how to put together a presentation or other methods for sharing updates. Willingness to communicate with staff regularly and listen to their input. Willing to challenge individual or shared beliefs that do not support a shared vision for student success. Stipend and Facilitator $800 per year on top of teaching salary, for teachers. Teacher stipend is paid in equal increments for the duration of the leadership role and is to be paid on a monthly basis. Teacher pay subject to STRS for all STRS members. The stipend amount is subject to all taxes and regular withholdings as required by law.

STIPEND PAY The stipend amount will be divided in equal parts and paid to the teacher each month, for the duration of the role. For example, a person in an 11-month teacher leader position will receive 1/11th of the stipend amount each month. If a teacher leader goes on leave or leaves work for any other reason, they will earn a pro-rata share of the stipend amount for the time worked. If a teacher leader accepts and moves into a different position with Ingenium in which the regular job responsibilities encompass the teacher leadership role responsibilities (e.g., administration, TOSA, etc.), then the teacher leader will receive the salary corresponding to the new role and will no longer receive the stipend amount, but will be paid a pro-rata share for the days already worked in the teacher leadership role.

Facilitator: Human Resources Department

Participation Requirements Participation in the teacher leader roles requires active and full participation. Specifically, teacher leaders must attend all specified meetings, assigned professional development sessions, and designated work sessions. Our group will decide whether our meetings are conducted remotely or in person. Mileage is reimbursed at the rate required by law. Teacher leaders must also abide by general professional guidelines, such as attending meetings on time and completing work by required deadlines. Employees who do not meet participation expectations may be removed from their roles.

Remote participation expectations: Participants must have their cameras on and be in a quiet, private space, conducive to active participation. Participation in this leadership role requires active and full participation. Specifically, leaders must attend all specified meetings, assigned professional development sessions, and designated work sessions. All sessions must be attended due to the limited amount of meetings, the staff communication requirements, and the inequity a missed meeting would create for other participants who are required to attend all meetings.
