**A Snapshot of Your Da**y**:
The position is to coordinate in the field the maintenance and repairs of electrical generators. It requires 80%+ travel to power plant sites internationally. The daily activities include leading and directing field services, winders and subcontractors to do the necessary tasks to serve the equipment, while assuring quality and technical procedures are followed. You will attend site meetings with customers/subcontractors to coordinate these tasks. You will coordinate and manage the timing of material received on site as necessary. You will be expected to communicate status and lessons-learned to the back-office engineering and management on a consistent basis. You must have a mechanical background and be able to read drawings and schematics necessary for the maintenance of the equipment. Specializing in different frames is possible over the time.
**How You'll Make an Impact**:
- Develop teams of winders technicians and craft labor personnel in the installation, repair maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical generators at various customer sites.
- Provide generator and generator interface knowledge and expertise to generator engineering, customer management, product line management and suppliers.
- Conduct electrical and mechanical specialty testing (low and high voltage) as required.
- Ensures all work is performed per approved processes and procedures while maintaining the highest levels of safety and quality.
- Review and complete customer contract requirements.
- Prepare and forward accurate reports concerning the condition and repairs and recommendations for customer equipment

- Responsibility to comply and / or implement the protocols, policies, guidelines, and competencies of the current integral management system (EHS, Quality).
**What You Bring**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Experience (4+ years) as an Electrical field service engineer.
- Technical Knowledge on electrical generator inspection, testing, generator rewinds, repairs and maintenance of their associated auxiliary systems.
- Good verbal communication skills with the ability to fluently speak, write, and read in English, at professional working proficiency level.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 80% of time (sometimes at little or short notice)
