International Trade Managment Specialist

Main Responsibilities: will include the following:- Main point of contact for more senior ITM personnel regarding trade data and trade program aspects of the regional trade compliance program- Site advisory, Management service.- Under the supervision of the ITM Regional Manager, assist in the implementation of a convergence plan for legacy trade compliance programs PROSEC, Rule 8TH- Under the supervision of the ITM Regional Manager, assist in the implementation of a development and enhancement plan for trade compliance- Self assessment reports (Annex 24 Data & Annex 31)- Responsible for free trade agreement operational support:- Data management / ERP interface (Daily interfase, HTS, DESC, ETC.)- Qualification analysis / certificate production- Claims and refunds- Perform basic legislative and regulatory impact analysis (Tariff analysis)- Supporting member of the Regional center of expertise for trade and compliance activities (audits, cost analysis, etc)- Day to day involvement in and support of multiple trade compliance programs (AEO, CTPAT, VAT certifications, Annex 31)- Perform training and auditing as requested by senior ITM personnel (Questionnaire's, annual IMMEX training, Introduction training)Education/experience: University degree; customs official/brokerpreferred; legal/logistics experience also advantageous; fluent written and spoken English required.At least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
