If you are eager to leverage your knowledge, whilst learning new skills, we want to hear from you!**Your main tasks and responsibilities**:- Actively participate in experiments ranging from lab to pilot scale, supporting R&D engineers in bio-monomer production and bio-polymer research.- Conduct detailed investigations into the synthesis and processing of bio-based materials.- Perform comprehensive characterization of produced bio-monomers to facilitate subsequent polymerization trials.- Be responsible of qualitative and quantitative analysis and data elaboration of raw materials and products.- Present results at group meetings and summarize your work in form of reports.**To succeed in this role, you will need**:- Be an excellent (final year) master's degree or PhD students with a major in chemistry / material science / chemical engineering along with a solid understanding in polymer chemistry.- Laboratory experience in conducting organic chemistry synthesis.- Know-how in characterization analysis like GC, HPLC and GPC.- Fluent English. any other language is an advantage.- Skilled in MS Office 365 (especially Excel)**What we offer you**:- 25 days holiday (exclusive of bank holidays)- Defined contribution pension scheme- Employee Assistance Program/health care- On-site car parking/public transport allowance- Access to a wide range of discountsThe internship is intended to begin from 1st Oct 2024 and lasts for six (6), up to nine (9), consecutive months - depending on your availability.
