.Inventory Planning PLCSeeking an experienced individual contributor to lead the organization's execution of a best-in-class inventory and liability management with an emphasis on Product Life Cycle planning and execution. Responsible for influencing product transition planning and providing a control point for PLC plan of record in the Supply Chain. Works closely with demand planning, supplier management and business units to address component liability, end of life scenarios and related risk mitigation plans. Influence across teams is required to align objectives and supporting functional activities.Responsibilities:Develops and leads Inventory planning, process and policy implementation related to Product Life Cycle activities for Hybrid Supply Planning.Works across teams to set product specific and aggregate targets with quantified risks and opportunities. Communicates action plans globally.Provides analytics to support operations and business reviews across specific businesses and geographies.Working closely with Category and Planning teams to effectively allocate inventory to support customer expectations and business goals.Owns Inventory KPI's and set targets within team and across organization to meet the financial goals on Inventory.Develops strategies and initiatives to support process improvements, capability adoption and inventory management policy.Participate in and contribute to regular inventory reviews across planning teams.Must implement new tools and technology to reduce manual efforts, improve efficiencies and optimize inventory.Should own the EOL, E&O process and reduce the inventory risks.Responsible for significant dotted-line employee reporting relationships.Applies broad and deep subject matter expertise to solve a variety of highly complex business issues.Education and Experience Required:First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.Typically 5+ years of experience in a supply chain or related function.Experienced in managing large teams and/or organizations.Significant Supply Chain and Operations background preferred, with experience in multiple disciplines (e.G., manufacturing, planning, logistics, etc.).Knowledge and Skills:Superior understanding of supply chain and procurement processes and strategy.Advanced understanding of market place and industry business operations and standards.Advanced leadership skills, particularly in complex, international, and cross functional teams.Advanced program management and prioritization skills.Advanced communication skills, catered to a wide variety of audiences; mastery in English and local language.Excellent business acumen and understanding of risk mitigation approaches and contract language usage.Advanced financial skills.Excellent understanding of HP's policies and processes.Ability to manage complex processes concurrently
