**Job Overview**An inventory analyst is responsible for establishing inventory goals and working closely with internal functions to ensure they are met, for TE's Americas Automotive business. This role will leverage statistical modeling and analysis to identify areas of opportunity and recommend actions to internal stakeholders**What your background should look like****Key responsibilities**- Drive cross functional alignment to establish optimal inventory targets that support business goals.- Develop KPIs & reporting to provide visibility of tracking against targets and lead monthly inventory reviews with senior leadership.- Collaborate with key stakeholders to create a plan of initiatives to meet targets and drive them to execution by establishing accountability and decision rights cross functionally.- Identify unproductive inventory and lead initiatives to reduce TE's exposure to unproductive stock through scrap reclaim, discounted sale etc.- Collaborate with purchasing function to drive greater adoption of vendor managed inventory on key commodities, reducton in lead times etc- Collaborate with Demand planning and sales to improve forecast accuracy on key product lines where TE has significant inventory investments to hedge against volatility.Participate in customer negotiations to share such cost burden.- Lead initiatives on adoption of digital technology for inventory optimization.- Ideate in building initiatives around inventory optimization processes including but not limited to leveraging statistical modeling, structural changes in materials planning, purchasing or transportation and warehousing**Desired Skills**- Bachelor's degree required.
