Job Description - Inventory and Materials Flows Supervisor (0097A7)
Mission
As a key player in our supply chain, you will oversee the Distribution Requirement Planning process, ensuring we meet our service level objectives while optimizing inventory levels.
Your expertise will help manage our purchase order portfolio, analyze stock discrepancies, and implement necessary adjustments.
Key Responsibilities
As a leader, you will manage a dynamic team of KIB4 (Inventory and Flow Analysts) and KIB3 (Supply Order Replenishment & Flow Analysts).
Your responsibilities will include:
Team Leadership: Inspire and supervise the KIB4 and KIB3 teams, guiding them in daily operations related to downstream and upstream flow management. People Management: Foster a culture of engagement, recognition, and wellbeing by setting goals, managing performance, and developing competencies within your team. Operational Excellence: Ensure the timely update of supply chain planning parameters (Lead Time, Quantity, Stocking Policy, etc.)
to maintain efficiency. Escalation Point: Serve as the primary escalation point for customer claims and invoice disputes, collaborating with relevant stakeholders. Efficiency Oversight: Monitor the effectiveness of shortages and BOL management across Europe and other regions, ensuring optimal stock levels and service coverage. Key Competences
We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in:
Inventory and Supply Planning Achieving Sustainable Results Inventory Replenishment Leading High-Performance Teams Cross-Cultural Communication Software & Apps Literacy Qualifications Education Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Language Proficiency
Intermediate advanced or advanced level of English is a must to communicate effectively in our global environment.
Key Systems
Familiarity with MS Office and ERP systems (such as Mapics, AS400, Oracle, SAP) will be essential to your success in this role.
Experience Level
We seek candidates with a minimum of 6 years of supervisory experience, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of material movement from receiving or the warehouse to production.
