Primary Function: Responsible for the adequate handling of production materials within the facility. Ensures adequate stock and timely supply of materials to the Distribution Centers and Direct to Customers. This position is accountable for applying lean concepts for the overall control and movement of materials in and out of the location. Administers production scheduling, inventory control, warehousing, customer service, traffic and/or shipping. Serves as a liaison among various departments to provide efficient customer service, inventory management and resolve difficulties. What do you get to do in this position? Executes overall Inventory levels in compliance with space availability, production output, order requirements, and business plans.Administers systems to minimize raw material inventories at Plant and Distribution Centers.Maintains plant Healthy Inventory to drive lead times down and increase cash flow. Works to dispose of unhealthy inventory in a timely manner.Develops strategies to meet SPS objectives for the corresponding domains.Support Key Users or to be a Key user on Supply Chain Management (SCM).Accountable for evaluating and maintaining SAP, Kanban and manufacturing systems in order to effectively manage and control inventory levels.Participate in plants Short Interval Management (SIM) process.Participate in SIOP process and follow Inventory Pipeline monthly.Responsible for Annual Physical Inventory.Responsible to define and update the supply and stock management parameters.Ensure needs/resources balance (MRP, etc.) for raw material, components, sub-assemblies and finished products by managing the customer's needs (customer order + CCMP'S) and the replenishment backlog.Ensure product availabilities by taking actions to solve backorders and shortages.Qualifications This job might be for you if: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.Functional knowledge of Material Management Computer System - MRP.Proficient computer skills including full suite of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.Ability to change with a dynamic workload: From heavy multi-tasking during peak workloads to very focused, detail-oriented work during critical projects.Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills are required.Preferred: Certification- CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) and/or CPIM (Certified Production and Inventory Management).Knowledge in information technology and finance very beneficial.2-3 years related experience in warehouse management, material flow, or inventory management within a manufacturing industry.
