Aptiv Inventory Control Leader is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the inventory, including cycle count program and annual "Physical Inventory (API)". Will work collectively with all Plant departments to ensure all inventory locations and sub inventories are readily available as needed for customer shipment or financial disposition. This position will work closely with Plant Management, Finance, Security and other management groups to prevent financial loss from theft relating to inventory discrepancies. All inventory discrepancies should be investigated systematically and physically to ensure compliance on all inbound, WIP and outbound material.Key Responsibilities:Inventory Control and Accuracy:Stock Management: Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, ensuring that inventory counts are correct, and that discrepancies are investigated and resolved.Reordering: Setting and managing reorder points to ensure that stock levels are optimal, preventing stockouts or overstock situations.Process Optimization:Efficiency Improvements: Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase the efficiency of inventory handling and reduce operational costs.Technology Integration: Utilizing inventory management software and other technologies to automate and streamline processes.Quality Control:Inspections and Audits: Conducting regular quality checks and audits to ensure that inventory meets the required standards and is in good condition.Returns and Damages: Managing returns and damaged goods processes to minimize loss and maintain inventory integrity.Data Analysis and Reporting:Metrics and KPIs: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory turnover, accuracy, and fulfillment rates.Reporting: Generating reports for upper management to inform decision-making and strategic planning.Audits:Block Stock: Lead the preparation and audit.Audit reconciliation: Lead the reconciliation effort and reporting to finance including audit closure.Cycle counts: Manage cycle counts including monthly site reporting.Basic Requirements:3+ years experience in-depth knowledge of SAP processes and procedures, mainly based around Inventory Control, but including basic processing design of all areas.Minimum High School diploma.Flexibility to support all shifts, weekends, and overtime as necessary to support the Team and site.Benefits:Major Medical and Life Insurance.Savings Fund.Retirement Plan.Opportunity to give back to the community.Learning, professional growth and development in a world-recognized international environment.Access to internal & external training, coaching & certifications.Apply today, and together let's change tomorrow!#J-18808-Ljbffr
