Inventory Control Supervisor

**Main Activities**- Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity.- Support the organization to maintain product identification and locations.- Responsible for completing physical inventories/cycle counts.- Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.- Support stockrooms to ensure materials are in proper locations. Conduct searches in order to locate misclassified inventory.- Perform thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources to identify root causes in order to resolve discrepancies and reconcile inventory.- Must be detailed oriented.- Build self-sustaining safety and 5S cultures. Ensure team members are following all safety and 5S standards.- Lead, support, and encourage participation in safety, 5S, and culture teams.- Monitor teams, reports, metrics, and KPIs to ensure daily performance as well as identify gaps and opportunities.- Lead and support Kaizen, root causes, value stream mapping, process audits, and other continuous improvement activities. Collaborate with other groups where those activities intersect with your teams.**Qualifications**- B.S. in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, International Business, or related field.- +5 years of experience in similar position in a manufacturing environment.- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time in an efficient and timely manner.- Strong working knowledge and experience in MS Office, well versed in Microsoft Excel.- Experience in the use of MRP and ERP systems (Oracle is desirable).- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.- Must be accurate, detail oriented, problem-solving and have good organization skills.- Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory role.
