Transforming the World's Information InfrastructureMicron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions, accelerating the transformation of information into intelligence and enriching life for all.Inventory Management and Optimization AnalystThis role exposes you to Micron's end-to-end Supply Chain, working with various departments including Operations, Sales, Business Units, Corporate Strategy, and Finance.As an Inventory Management and Optimization Analyst, you will work to develop and manage supply chain policies, inventory business processes, and optimization models, driving data-driven insights that inform decision-making across the organization.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement business processes and/or plans with internal stakeholders, identifying process inefficiencies and collaborating with key partners to drive continuous improvement efforts.Analyze demand, supply, and shipment trends using statistical tools to identify opportunities and risks to business revenue plans.Create methodologies/automated processes to analyze, solve, and find root-cause for supply shortages by data mining planning systems.Evaluate inventory mixes to identify slow-moving, orphaned, overstocked, or quality hold inventories and collaborate with stakeholders to develop appropriate actions.Education & QualificationsBachelor's degree in industrial engineering / supply chain management / data science / operations researchProficient with data and analyticsComfortable solving new problems in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and proven leadership abilities
